- AWS encrypted boot & block volumes for data storage
- MongoDB deployment for customer data that includes encryption, user authentication and SSL encryption for all traffic
- All traffic between application tiers (Client Browser, Load Balancers, Application Servers, Storage and Databases) are encrypted with 2048 bit SSL certificates.
- EP hosts its cloud resources in AWS's Columbus, OH (us-east-2) and Portland, OR (us-west-2) datacenters (primary is in Columbus)
- We do not use resources outside the United States
- Containerized, isolated deployments for every customer
- Least-privilege, Role Based Access Controls
- End-to-end encryption with modern TLS
- Firewalled servers
- Cloudflare DDoS and Security protections
- Source code security scanning

Single-Sign-On
Single sign-on (SSO) is an authentication scheme that allows a user to log in with a single ID to any of several related, yet independent, software systems.
Benefits of using single sign-on include:
- Mitigate risk for access to 3rd-party sites. Because user passwords are not stored or managed externally
- Reduce password fatigue from different username and password combinations
- Reduce time spent re-entering passwords for the same identity
- Better network security. Eliminating multiple passwords also reduces a common source of security breaches—users writing down their passwords.
